We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. It goes without saying, for instance, that we will always treat your personal data in accordance with the relevant data protection regulations. We have appointed a professional and reliable external data protection officer. The external data protection management is provided by Enno Peters, Torsten Hatscher (Deputy), Datenschutz-Experten UG (haftungsbeschränkt) & Co. KG, Hügelstraße 21, 47447 Moers, Germany, e-mail: mail@datenschutz-experten.nrw, phone: +49 2841 3686700.

We would like to inform you below of how personal data are processed.

Collection and processing of personal data

You can in principle access our online presence without disclosing your identity. Should we ask for personal data (such as your name, address or email address) while you are on the website, e.g. for contact forms or when logging in/registering, this is done on a voluntary basis. We use this information for our own business purposes (such as delivering the materials/information requested).

If you have questions of any kind, you can contact us using a form provided for that purpose on the website. We need the data marked as mandatory in order to assign and answer the enquiry. Other details can be provided voluntarily. The data you provide for the purposes of contacting us will be processed in accordance with Art. 6 (1) Sentence 1 (a) GDPR on the basis of your freely given consent.

Once granted, you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future without stating the grounds.

This site uses what are known as cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer. They enable your use of the website to be analysed and you to be recognised automatically the next time you visit. You can prevent the installation of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your browser. This may result in you not being able to make full use of all the functionality of the site.

Forwarding of data

As a matter of principle, your personal data will not be forwarded to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes without your express consent. We will only forward your personal data to third parties if this is allowed by law [e.g. on the basis of Article 6 GDPR] and/or is required. Sometimes we use service providers to process data in accordance with legal requirements; the website is hosted by the advertising agency netzpepper, for instance. Full responsibility for the data processing remains with us, however.

Liability for own content

The content of these pages was created with the greatest possible care. Nevertheless, we cannot offer any warranty that the content is correct, complete and up-to-date. As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages in accordance with general laws.

Liability for links (content of third-party providers)

This content of our own must be distinguished from cross-references (links) to content provided by other providers. We have no influence on their content; the provider or operator of the linked pages is responsible for the content of these pages.

Rights of data subjects

We hereby inform you that according to Article 15 et seq. GDPR and under the conditions defined there you have the right to be informed by us of the personal data concerning you, the right to have such data rectified or erased, the right to restrict or object to their processing and the right to data portability. According to Article 77 GDPR you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of the personal data concerning you infringes this Regulation. If the processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR or Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR (consent), you also have the right to withdraw consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing performed on the basis of consent until withdrawal.

YouTube

Our site uses the provider YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, for the integration of videos. When you click on the video, your IP address will be sent to YouTube and YouTube will know that you have seen the video. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information will also be assigned to your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before opening the video).

We do not know if or how your data will be collected and used by YouTube, nor do we have any influence on this. For further information, please refer to the data privacy policy of YouTube at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to prevent spam. The legal basis for use is Article 6 (1) f (lawfulness of processing), as there is a legitimate interest in protecting this website from bots and spam. reCAPTCHA is a free service that protects web pages against spam and abuse. It uses advanced risk analysis techniques to keep people and bots apart.

With the new API, a significant number of your valid human users will pass the reCAPTCHA challenge without having to solve a CAPTCHA. We use reCAPTCHA to secure forms. By using reCAPTCHA, data will be transmitted to Google using Google to determine whether the visitor is human or spam.

What information Google collects and how it uses this information can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-AT. You can read Google's Terms of Service and Products Terms at https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=en-AT.

Google Maps

To facilitate your journey here, we use Google Maps to display maps and generate directions. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. These pages are identified accordingly. By using these services, you declare that you agree to the collection, processing and use by Google of both the data collect-ed and the data entered by you. The terms of service for Google Maps can be found at https://www.google.com/intl/de-DE_US/help/terms_maps.html.

Use of social media icons

We have installed social media icons on our website. These allow you to access the YouTube and LinkedIn social media platforms with a single click. When you visit our website, normally no personal data will be forwarded to the providers. You can recognise the providers of the platforms by their logo. We enable you to get direct access to posts by Lenord + Bauer on their websites by clicking on the icon.
We do not have any influence on the data collected or the data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of the collection of data, the purposes of storage or the storage periods. We do not have any information on erasure either.
We enable you to receive information from Lenord + Bauer on the relevant platform by clicking on the icon. The legal basis for this use is point (f) of Art. 6(1) GDPR.
The addresses of the social media platforms, where you can read their data protection policies, are as follows:

Analysis by Christopher Knapp Software Design

Our website uses server-side technology with Christopher Knapp whitelist matching to analyze visitor behavior. The IP address of the visitor is checked against a company database and rejected if it is not authorized. If it is authorized, company-relevant information such as the company name is stored. The IP address is discarded immediately after matching and is not stored.

When processing data, it is our specific aim to safeguard the data protection rights of natural persons. Our aim is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. (f) GDPR. The data we collect is never linked to identifiable persons.

Christopher Knapp uses this information to create anonymous usage profiles related to the visiting behavior on our website. The data obtained in this process is not used to personally identify visitors to our website.

Customer satisfaction survey

We use the LimeSurvey tool to conduct surveys in order to assess and improve customer satisfaction. LimeSurvey is a free software for the creation of web-based surveys. We process the ratings you give in connection with your company, but we do not associate these ratings with your personal data, nor do we associate them with the data of the person giving the ratings. Your email address will only be processed in the invitation to the voluntary participation. Personal data must not be indicated when processing the survey. The data provided will be erased after two years at the latest. To the extent that technical service providers are given access to data, this will be done on the basis of a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis for processing the data is point (f) of Art. 6(1) GDPR.

Amendments to these data protection regulations

We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement from time to time so that it always conforms to current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the privacy statement, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy statement then applies for any further visit.
