In addition, we expect a Code of Conduct that is comparable in content and standard to the VdB Code of Conduct. We also place strong emphasis on compliance with applicable European legislation, particularly in relation to the requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz), to which we are indirectly bound through our customers.
Following a review of your documentation and an initial meeting, you will undergo a further internal qualification process and subsequently be added to our supplier pool as a potential trading partner, to be considered for future inquiries.
We maintain a fair and respectful relationship with our suppliers and expect the same in return. Our goal is a partnership on equal terms — particularly in challenging situations. Information regarding delivery dates, as well as any potential deviations or delays, must be communicated openly and at the earliest possible stage.
