Efficiency, noise and durability of electric traction motors depend on the signal quality of the sensor technology used. Lenord+Bauer has developed innovative rotor position sensors, which provide highly accurate positions and speeds for ripple-free speed and torque control of the drives.

The bearingless, maintenance-free system can be easily integrated into motor designs where installation space is limited. Its compact design, insensitivity to stray electromagnetic fields, and cost-effective construction and connection technology make it a superior alternative to resolver systems commonly in use today. It can reliably detect speeds of up to 40,000 revolutions. This allows drives with maximum torques to be controlled with high quality over the entire speed range.

Thanks to rapid prototyping, individual functional samples and prototypes are available to customers within a very short time.
