Much of the configuration of the GEL 235 absolute rotary encoder can be carried out in the factory, but you can alternatively also use a parameterization program (PSW GEL235) to modify it. This program is a self-explanatory Windows application for setting up the parameters and display of current values for your SensorLine absolute rotary encoder GEL 235. The same program also enables you to store, load and print parameter records.

The parameterization process requires a standard commercial PC with Pentium processor and an installed version of Windows (2000 or later). You will need an active USB port in order to attach the supplied USB adapter and connection cable. During the parameterization process the absolute rotary encoder is powered via the USB adapter.

Important notice: The available software is part of the parametrization kit (order no. PK 25301) mentioned above. It requires the usb-adapter to work. If you would like to order the parametrization kit, please contact your local sales representative.
